Sounds great! Easy installation.

I took a gamble buying 2nd hand & installing myself. I'm not good at DIY. I bought it knowingly used. The box was unsealed, but everything was there, seemed to be brand new in wrapping & screen protecting film in place.
To install, I followed the YouTube video & the process took about ½ an hour. I needed to buy 3M clear plastic hooks,
another 10 minutes to tidy away the wires. Download an app on the phone. All done!

Great Digital Addition.

Excellent little gadget. Wireless receiver is a bonus. Only the aerial needs power, 12v accessory adaptor included. Reception in rural area not so good, but that's not down to the unit, it works great in larger towns. I suggest if you are in a rural area, tune it when in a large town.
All said, its great little unit of excellent quality. And at a great price.

Poor DAB reception for everything but the BBC

My car has an excellent FM radio and I bought this radio so that I could listen to stations that do not broadcast on FM where I live. I'm in an area with good DAB reception which I can listen to on the radios in my work van and wife's car without a problem.

I installed the 600 as per the instructions, connecting it to the AUX and ensuring that the magnetic earth lead had a metal to metal contact.

I was very disappointed to find that the Pure Highway 600 does not connect to stations such as TalkRadio, and TalkSport. It does not even connect to Classic FM which is a national station on FM.

The spec says its frequency range is on Band III 174-240Mhz. Needless to say it picks up the BBC crystal clear, but then so does my 10 year old FM car radio.

For a piece of modern electronics from a reputable company I think this is a poor performance. I wasted my money. Don't make the same mistake.

DAN 600

Very good bit of kit. A little bit fussy connecting to Bluetooth and the little cable holders don’t stick to plastic (had to buy some heavy duty Velcro). Apart from that I’m really pleased, can listen to my music on phone and make hand free calls. Wicked.Read full review

Easy to Fit DAB conversion

This Pure DAB is very easy to fit. It takes just a few minutes to hide the cables around the door seal. It starts up quickly and sounds good. Reception is good and sound quality through the microphone is good. Recommend.Read full review

Probably the best in it's market.

Reception excellent, the only time I lose signal is in a tunnel!
Installation a breeze.
Had a cheaper unit before, terrible, the extra aerial with a magnet that goes under the lining onto the roof makes all the difference.Read full review

Pure Highway 600

This device is easy to install, and set up.
It has the usual DAB problems, called the canyon effect, where signal drops out in lower areas, but this is the same with all DAB equipment

A neat, almost perfect, DAB and Media solution

I am very pleased with the Highway 600. It does what it is meant to do; offer DAB to cars without this service.

It’s easy to fit if you follow the instructions. I would recommend looking on YouTube for further guidance however. The sticky holder could be better as I couldn’t get it to stick on the dash as mine is curved and leather. I bought a universal phone holder which attaches to an air vent.

DAB reception is pretty good unless in a city or poor coverage area. I also found that I had to change the frequency used to connect device to my car radio. This was because a number of other drivers are using the same Pure device and would overplay their music on my radio.

Ensure you update the device to latest software. This is easy and does improve an already good device.
