I have bought other sharpeners that have been battery operated and that have a flap that spins a round and sharpens the blade but this wears and stops working after a few goes. I was sceptical at first

After reading the reviews for the Razorpit, I thought this sounds too good to be true. I then watched a couple of videos on Youtube sent in by reviewers/demonstrators and these convinced me to buy one. I've had it for nearly a month and have sharpened my Wilkinson Hydro 5 blade razor three times and it works. I shave most days and a razor cartridge would normally last approx three weeks. I have been shaving with the same one since the middle of June, nearly two months, thanks to the Razorpit. The thing itself doesn't look much, a moulded piece of rubber type material but it does what it says and sharpening the razor blade takes less than 10 seconds. Some websites are selling this for nearly £20, I paid £7.99 and feel I have had a bargain, bearing in mind a pack of the replacement cartridges I use is nearly £10. So simple

Such a great piece of kit, takes no more space and it works for me incredibly well. I would normally change a blade every 2 weeks or so, I am into my 7th week with my current blade and it is still doing a great job.

I have bought 3 as gifts now, Not the biggest money saver of all time but one that works with no real extra effort. Mine will pay for itself this year for sure. I have been using it 3 months now. Great success.Read full review

Sharpens Blades

I bought the Razorpit Sharpener over two months ago and it does keep my blades sharp.
1. Shaving habits are as followed: 3 or 4 days a week
2: Hair Type: Straight Smooth

I started off with a new blade and have been using the same blade the whole time. I use the Razorpit ;Just before every shave.. While I will admit it is not as smooth as a brand new blade however, it does the job.

Use your blades a while longer

I've just bought my second Razorpit as I lost my original one whilst travelling.... I thought I'd do without it, but then I noticed my blades started to drag after a few days use - and I wasn't used to that!

Use of the razorpit extends the life of your blades - I don't understand the technology, but it's a bit like stropping a razor to hone the blade. I'm not sure that i get 150 shaves from 1 blade - but I certainly get more than I would without using the razorpit.

I bought this replacement at a bargain price - cheaper than i bought the original a few years back. So what's not to like?Read full review

Brilliant and saves a fortune in blades

I was skeptical at first but I have several of them at both my homes, the first one is 2 years old and still going strong. Frankly they are brilliant, you will get at least a month out of a fusion blade (I used to get a week!) my son gets two months but for me around 5 weeks is fine.
