I'm amazed at the quality of the video on the ring doorbell. Even at night with no lights everything is crystal clear. The smart features including the integration with Amazon echo work great. Decided not to use it.

We ended up not using it. We used the newest, less expensive Lorex doorbell which does everything this Ring Doorbell Pro 2 does except the radar tracking which we don't need. The property has numerous survelleince cameras that handle that job better. But the biggest thing is that the Lorex doorbell does not require an expensive annual subscription of $120 to keep data that is inherent with the Ring Pro 2 doorbell. Read full review

Rind Doorbell Pro 2

This Ring Doorbell Pro 2 replaced an older Ring doorbell that the battery had failed. Its hardwired using the DC Voltage from the original doorbell.
The fisheye view covers the entire front entryway and is so much clearer, 1346 vs 1080.
Fairly easy to install Different from the original Ring doorbell, in that you screw the entire doorbell to the bricks and attach the clip-on faceplate last.
I recommend purchasing via Ebay

Ring Doorbell is still a great choice

I had the original Ring doorbell for 4 or 5 years and it wore out I guess. So I replaced with the SimpliSafe version since I already have the SimpliSafe security system. This device is spectacular! There is only one drawback. After a grace period, there is a yearly charge of $30.00 per year. The video capture is wonderful and the color night vision is excellent. Setting up the doorbell was quite easy, but then I do a lot of DIY projects. The Pro 2 is a superior doorbell in my humble opinion. These are the views that the doorbell captures and a satellite view offered by Ring of my property. It, also works seamlessly with Alexa Show.
