Videographer’s supplementary mic

As a videographer I needed a small lightweight option to record outdoor location sound of better quality when I use my small Sony camera without an external plug-in microphone. This Rode SmartLAV+ mic can be plugged into my iPhone and record a mono soundtrack that can be layered and synced and replace the cameras soundtrack if necessary during editing. The included lapel clip allows it to be attached to your clothing allowing hands free operation.
The foam wind filter blocks out any annoying wind gust interruptions. The raw sound quality is excellent and can be further enhanced during editing if required.Read full review
