Poor Handle, Very slippery
The dish does a good job of what it is intended to do.
Only 3 stars because the handles as illustrated indicates a narrower waist than is the reality. One needs to have extremely clean and dry hands (not the usual for kitchen use or even at the table) to pickup the cover to avoid it slipping and as often happens becoming broken.
There are other butter dishes with a more substantial handle on the cover. Look for something more substantial if you are a cooker or backer...Read full review

The handle is not shaped well and the cover is too narrow. In removing the cover, the handle is slippery in my fingers and the cover is so narrow it bumps into the butter easily and becomes messy very quickly.Read full review
