Can't comment on durability as we've not had it long, but it seems to be very sturdy. Exceptionally easy to use. I get excited every time I use this chopper. We have a very expensive food processor that is complicated to use, heavy and takes ages to clean :( .... I think I might never use the big machine again! This is very quick to clean. i bought this to replace the $20 Aldi chopper I had been using but accidentally broke the glass.... so this Russell job is twice as expensive. I have to say it's worth the money. It's so much better made, quieter, more powerful, better designed, etc. After I liked it so much better than the Aldi product that I didn't even mind it was double the money! Great little machine. Comes with glass bowl. Easy to clean and operate. I just hope they have more blades, more power option and the need to hold to operate. Otherwise it's a great little machine.

Quality bit of kit, perfect size for our needs. The most use we have is for Tuna surprise where we use the chopper to crumb bread with herbs and cheese.
The glass bowl is also easy to clean.
You can use your elbow if one has to use hands for something else
