I'm ex military. This reminds me of the MRE's, but not as expensive. Price was a big factor in my purshase, but not the only reason.
The other reason was the accessory pack, awesome, everythingI need, plus toilet paper(very important)smile.
The fact that the meal retains its liquid is especially good and very nutritious with vitamins and drink(beverage).
Love the candy.

For emergencies great price, low sodium, needs a sauce supplement.

They are for emergencies, great price. Make sure you have some kind of sauce on hand. The entrees are very bland due to being low sodium.

Quality food but needs newer heaters

The food is perfectly fine, but the frameless ration heaters are hit or miss. One out of four worked. I even tried mixing salt in water then added it to the frh. Not a big deal.

Forever food

I eat food everyday. This meal is good but not the same as restaurants meal, I wish there was fancy inside but it is food mush that taste ok but that's fine. Camping.

Waste of money

I have opened and attempted to use four of the MRE's and here are my observations:
(1) The heating element in each of those four did not work.
(2) The Tootsie Roll in each was melted "into" the white paper tray in the packet.
(3) The Pop Tarts were fused together with the wrapper opened along the seam.
(4) The apple jelly was the consistency of apple juice.

I recommend you save up and buy a better product. In our case. This will be used for barter if needed.

Dont waste your money
