Take it..... for a STEAL!

DO NOT pay anywhere near the asking price. This unit is definitely in the basic category. No frills blu ray player.
The player does its job well enough. It responds well to its remote. The picture and sound transmit okay.

IF...you lose the remote. The unit is really a challenge to work. There is NO on/off light to tell if the unit is working or off. You will only know by what shows on your screen. Manually operating this unit is a minor challenge. You can press the on button but not know if it is on....again no light. Eject is a bit puzzling also. To this day I can not tell you the proper way to get this unit to open manually. (My unit came minus instructions, hence the Ebay deal). I usually just run my finger around the circular operating pad in different motions until it opens.

This is a unit we barely use as it sits in a guest room. Probably a good thing.Read full review

I'VE HAD THIS DVD PLAYER FOR ABOUT 10 DAYS & FIND NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THUS FAR. IT PLAYS ALL REGIONS, DVD-Rs, & USB. IT'S EASY TO USE & HAS ALL THE FEATURES I NEED. AS FOR ITS INHERENT QUALITY & DURABILITY, WE SHALL SEE. IF IT DOESN'T BREAK AFTER A COUPLE OF YEARS OF REGULAR USE, I WILL BE PLEASED. Good Unit For The Money

This is a good little unit for the money. Works, makes a few noises at times, but overall is reliable, we've bought two of them. I'd suggest to anyone who owns one of these to make sure it is level, this will keep you from having problems. This tiny and inexpensive device is incredible. It does all the thinking for you. Just feed it a DVD or CD and it determines what region it's from (of the 10 regions in the world, both PAL and NTSC), and converts it to your region and your television, and starts the disk. nice little unit

This thing works well. The remote is tiny, and the buttons close together. But, for the price, these are really small things. It works (which is amazing, given that the only packing around the original box was a plastic sheet to protect against dampness... NOTHING to protect it against bumps or anything else. I like the unit, I don't like the remote.

The unit is rather small, which I like. The remote is smaller than I like, but it works. I bought this unit because I believed it to be an 'all region' dvd player. As it turns out, it is not all region out of the box, but I was able to configure it to be so, so now I can watch US and UK dvd's without trouble. Miss Google can give you directions about how to configure it to be an 'all region' player.

Another plus with this player - my Sony dvd player had trouble with lots of dvd's, minor flaws on the dvd could make the player skip and pause. About half of dvd's caused this problem. This Samsung has played about 8 dvd's without a problem.Read full review
