Can't update this model for the specifics I wanted it for

I discovered after purchasing the Samsung Galaxy tab 2 was an older model of tablet which meant I couldn't update the tablet to the specifications I intended it for, when reading the listing I had expectations for it once I had bought it. I don't play on line games and I wanted to install an updated version of you tube to listen to music (this wasn't possible as the system was out of date) I also wanted to download an e-mail app but this Samsung model wasn't capable as it has old software The only thing about it was the bbc news was downloaded on to it but if you are purchasing an older model of a tablet one doesn't know the specifics of its capabilities until one turns it on. one plus side it had an energy saving feature so this was the only thing I was impressed by. working fine now but it struggled to access the download of 98 hrs of audio book, took 6 or 7 mins. to get started.

Too slow

Looks nice, feels nice, but is it slow by modern standards, battery life is very good, takes along time to charge fully.
