Amazing Automatic Watch!

This watch is absolutely fantastic. It kept such accurate time that I’d often forget that it was an automatic. The original band was slightly uncomfortable, so I purchased a classic two-piece NATO strap. The watch does feel slightly heavier and bigger on smaller wrists. Most of my watches are 40mm, and this just felt bigger. I didn’t mind it, but I figure it’s worth mentioning. The exhibition case back is a huge plus. I eventually gifted this to a family member who had bigger wrists, and plan to buy a Hamilton Scuba Automatic since it is 40mm and has a sapphire crystal. However, I am hoping it is as good as keeping time as the Seiko.Read full review

Great watch - Do they all come with alternating Arabic and English Day windows?

It’s a nice basic watch

I like the blue dial but at 42 mm it’s a little large on my wrist. It’s currently running at plus 9 seconds a day. I was looking for my fist mechanical watch. This fits the bill. Only downside is no hack and no crown wind. Read full review

Terrific watch

Bought the Seiko to use while my super-expensive Omega is in Switzerland for repairs. Now I think I would prefer to wear the Seiko, even when the Omega arrives back.

Photos don'tdo it justice

I own several Seiko watches including other Seiko 5 models and this is the best looking one of the lot! I have a large wrist and this watch is the perfect size at 42mm. The quality of the build is incredible and the accuracy so far is great. The only thing I would change would be making the numbers glow in the dark as well as the markers, other wise every thing else is just fine. You can't go wrong with this Seiko.
