Big plus is the sound quality. As others have said the ON EAR design is not the best, but acceptable for the length of a movie. An over the ear design would be more comfortable. I was surprised at the interference I sometimes get when the angle to the transmitter changes, like when a radio channel crosses over. But I found the right position after a while. I've moved all through my house with minimal problems so range is good. I did not want Blue Tooth as previous products were very bad on connecting and interference, so the Sennheiser is an improvement on that. Overall I'm please with the purchase at the price I paid.

Sennhieser headphones and dock

I bought it as a present. I already have one that I use every day and it works great.
I used the headphones on my dock and it works great.
The dock does not work at all.

The Sennheiser RS-120 system serves my needs well - clear sound and good distance capability. The headphones are somewhat "unbalanced" on the head but maybe that is true of all brands of headphones. I've not owned other brands to compare.Read full review

Use these everyday

I already own a pair of these headphones. The only con is that the earpieces are flat and tend to slide off of your head if you look down. I can wear them outside and the range is pretty good. When my old headphones broke because of the constant use (after quite a long time) I looked into replacing them with another brand and tried a pair from Sony which were rubbish so I returned them and bought the Sennheiser again. I purchased these headphones so that I can have two pair and the cradle I already owned took both pairs for recharging. Better than I expected

I have to admit I don't know much about headphones. I needed these to listen to the TV when everyone has gone to bed and really did not expect too much. Turned out better than I thought. The only downside (a little one) is the tuning dial. It hits the back of the recliner if you turn your had too far. EASILY fixed by placing a small piece of tape over it once tuned. Volume dial is in a good position and does not need to be protected. These work GREAT for me. Batteries last a long time (week or more between charging overnight). Good sound!Read full review

Tough Headset. It has to be.

The HDR 120 Headset works very well, has great range and volume. I can't judge the sound quality since I am very hard of hearing, but these make TV watching 100 times easier. Since they are an RF device they work around corners, unlike some other IR devices. My only complaint is that since I am bald the headset falls off all the time. That is where the tough part comes in. I drop my headset on everything imaginable and they keep working. It would be nice if the padding on the top had some friction, but alas, it does not. That being the worst part of the headset, I would say it is very good, well made, and fits my needs about 90%.Read full review

Excellent wireless headphones

I have been using this Sennheiser wireless headphone system for more than 20 years now. Everytime the headphones die on us, we just replace the headphones. The sound quality is excellent, the headphones themselves are size adjustable and I'm able to walk around, even outside the house to the front yard, and still hear the TV programming. Battery life is excellent & recharging on the station is quick.

Most Excellent Headphones

Bought these as a Christmas gift for myself from my wife so I can watch and listen to TV while she nods off early. I usually have some trouble getting electronic devices to work properly, but these were a cinch to set up. Turned them on after charging for a few hours. I didn't even have to tune them in...the TV sound came on immediately and with crystal clarity. I was amazed. "Old" FM tech wins over newer Bluetooth

I bought this replacement headset, since I broke one of my set of two that I have used for many years.

I find these Sennheisers to be the best wireless tech on the market.

The signal is transmitted by FM, not Bluetooth, so the base station can easily cast to multiple headsets. This is a perfect solution for two parents viewing a movie at night with the kids in bed, or a single person viewing or listening to content while another is remote working, or an insomniac up at 3AM, or a pair of teens staying up late.

FM signal transmission is so simple that this system never needs any tech support (I'm the tech support). Every member of the family can just use it. This is the opposite with any Bluetooth headset. If FM seems inferior to Bluetooth because of the age of the tech, it ease of use and comparable sound quality makes it a winner.Read full review
