Good addition to my kitchen

I am not into gadgets but having read other reviews thought this would be useful in my kitchen. Perfect mash first time, light, and fluffy. I think anyone who has a problem needs to check the type of spud and cut veg into reasonably uniform pieces to ensure no over/undercooked pieces, not an onerous task. Carrots and Swede mash just needed a bit more mashing but then I had done them in small batches in the microwave as I like the sweet taste it keeps for veg. Easy clean although bits are on the sieve head but that is my perk..... Same item that Lakeland sell much more expensive although they do give their 3 yr gtee.Read full review

Doesn't mash potatoes

Well a big disappointment, whilst it does make a mess of the potatoes, it leaves great, lumpy chunks of potato. Not the creamed potatoes I was expecting, save your money and just use a hand masher.

Fabulous mashed potato in a flash!!!

My family absolutely love mashed potatoes but I hate mashing them. Takes ages to get them nice a fluffy with no lumps. Then there’s the pain of washing up getting all the potatoes out of the tiny holes. So I just typed in electric masher and up popped the MASHA. Easy to use

Because , when you mash anything you tend to need to put a lot of pressure downwards to get all the lumps out, which my wife struggled to do at times with a manual masher, and we had wasted money on different types which still did not do the job, it was decided we would try an electric one, and brought this model from " Sensio " to be fair we have not had it long and have only used it about three times but what a difference it has made already, my wife is very pleased with the results thus far and would recommend it ,as it does make a difficult job at times, more enjoyable plus it can be used on other things other than potato, swede,ect.Read full review
