two good songs

It has two excellently performed songs in it, "singing in the rain" and "make em laugh". The rest of the musical is a plot vehicle for these songs to happen, and not a very good plot vehicle. But after they happen, it goes downhill. There are a lot of big stage numbers that have nothing to do with anything.
