Why is it pink?

I have used this product for seven years. When I opened the bottle, the serum was a light pink! I don’t know if it is tainted or if it is the wrong product?! Every bottle I have ever owned has always been clear at first and then as the air gets to it it turns a slight peachy orange color. Very confused about this product I’m not sure why it’s a light pink color. I’m using it but wondering if it’s actually beneficial.
