Great speaker, but not “rugged”.

It sounds really great. It was a bit of a challenge to connect even when following instructions.

It’s also constructed similar to an indoor speaker, such that taking it outside makes me feel really cautious about dropping it, tipping it over, something getting thrown at it, etc and the thing getting scratched and dinged. Perhaps it would still work just fine, and I know water isn’t a concern, I’m just saying I wouldn’t called it “rugged”.Read full review

Must-have for Sonos enthusiasts!

Love it! I can carry it around so easily, and the sound is just like the other Sonos speakers. The only difference is it doesn’t have to be plugged in. It’s super simple to charge; just set it down inside the charging ring. Could not be any easier. It’s perfectly designed and easy to carry and has the most amazing sound. Small enough to be portable but large enough to deliver good bass. The treble is excellent as is the midrange. The battery seems to last quite well and the speaker is very attractive in its appearance. The charging base is robust yet small enough to be out of the way. Sonos Move Portable Speaker sounds amazing - integrating with Alexa was seamless and had the speaker added to my home network in about 10 minutes. This is now our go-to speaker that follows us to our outdoor living area/kitchen and great sound in a 15 x 24 porch with roof and open sides.

GREAT Sound, Little Box

Awesome sound from little box even though it's mono. Can really crank the dB. The charging stand is very convenient, however neither end unplugs to allow snaking the wire through small apertures - the plug end is huge and the charger ring larger. I've been able to hear the change in sound as the Move adjusts itself to the room space, kinda creepy nice. Have used it for 5 hours loud with no battery issue.

Have not tested weather resistant design as yet.

Only negatives are it seems pricey and the plug thing mentioned above where it matters.Read full review

Best bass and sound in a portable speaker

I wanted good bass and this speaker has it, great sound, easy to bring with me too. I don’t use Alexa nor do I use it with the Sonos app. I just use it in Bluetooth mode and it’s great.

Move 1 sounds great, especially if you don't have to deal with the S2 software.....

For the size of the speaker, it has a large sound stage. The charging cradle and hand hold are both well designed. Easy integration with my other Sonos products. All in all, a fantastic speaker!
