Does work, would probably give color on a television, but gives black and white images through a component to vga converter, and occasionally cuts out. better than what I had before though

I think the laser may need replacing as it will only play DVD games. It won't pick up CD games but apparently this is common with playstation. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Thank you.
