Good backup controller - Not very precise
If you need a controller to control media, apps and general browsing. Not great for fast paced games. R1, R2 feel really loose and thumb sticks feel very stiff.

There's a bump from the front and back casing meeting, L1 and R1 are clicky when pressed all the way, sixaxis doesn't work, pressure sensitivity is off on L1, not as much R1, analogs are stiff, MGS4 it's too hard to walk and will mostly run. I played the PS3 during it's relevant era and just didn't want to search for my gold controller that's lasted me since the PS4 was out. Read full review

The controller is great, bought one after 3-4 buttons of my original Dualshock 3 started acting up. Seems like the build quality isn't great, if you shake it you can figure that the R1 button isn't correctly glued on the controller. Feel broken. When they arrived, the sounded broken when shaken, made noise inside controller. Play COD w them and it's impossible to aim down the sight. Absolute trash. Gonna have to order legit ones that come inside the box, cause these won't cut it. The d pad feels off as well, like if it was replaced w a bootleg controller. Overall disappointed, wasted 50 on two, should've read the other reviews and saved my $$$......Read full review

Won't hold a charge despite battery change.
I wanted an official controller for my daughter. But this will not keep a charge for very long. Changed the battery & it did not improve the problem. Internal workings & overall feel seems like a bootleg. Definitely a lower quality compared to my other 4 PS3 controllers. If this is an official product, shame on you Sony. Cleans up nicely but doesn't work well...
The issue is 2 parts: One, the picture shows me a controller in its original packaging. Simply wasn't sent like that. And two, and this is the true issue...it's obviously a refurbished controller but one that is in serious need of calibration or something. It simply doesn't respond to your commands as fluidly and quickly as it the originals. You can't do anything to adjust sensitivity to make it the directional controls move fluidly...it just like it all of suddenly takes off in the direction to move without any control over the speed you want to go.Read full review
