The Sony Remote works fine on the basic functions relating to MENU setup. Have not used other features. HOWEVER after powering on the OLD SONY BR Player it takes 10 sec to POWER ON, then another 20 sec before the remote can activate DVD OPEN, so be patient!Read full review
