Spark Plug-Laser Iridium NGK 4589

Its spark plugs, It either works or doesn't, only a decade later will tell if its good quality.

I don't know what to write about this since its only been a few hundred miles since installed. The NGK laser Iridium is an upgrade from the factory scion TC non laser NGK Iridium. It installed properly and worked like it should. Our Scion had 121,000 miles on the original NGK Iridiums so it shows that they lasted past the manufacturer's scheduled maintenance guide so I have confidence these spark plugs will outlast the actual car itself. Better fuel economy

My only mistake was switching to a name brand platinum+4 thinking 4 tips will give me better mileage. Wrong. The name brand platinum+4 consumes 20% more gas than NGK iridium. After few months I switched back to NGK 4589 which is the original spark plugs of my 2004 Camry. Better performance after 2000 RPM plus better fuel economy. Best plug ever made ( my opinion )

The Great Debate : Denso vs NGK spark plug. As a mechanic for 45 years, I vote for NGK. They are quite similiar..almost identical. But throughout the years of changing spark plugs, NGK tends to run a bit hotter. A hotter plug will give you easier starting, less fouling, less carbon buildup, better gas mileage. They both average the same lifespan, around 125k. So, with the price of gas, I go with NGK...These plugs are peace of mind for me. The price was right / shipping was fast / packaging excellent.
