Genuine Ford recommended
Genuine Motorcraft Ford recommended plugs, but still old two piece design that can break off in the engine head. I take them out every 10,000 miles and coat them with anti seize. Torque them to 23 ft lbs. Works well. If you get a check engine light and car goes into limp mode when downshifting, replace your coil. The computer doesn’t always give correct cause!Read full review

New ones broke while installing them
That's right, these Motorcraps can still break like the old ones, in my case 1 of the 7 broke on the way in the engine, now I'm afraid of the removal of the other 7 when the time comes to replace them. Do yourself a favor and buy the Champion one piece plugsand save yourself the future headache. Oh and the plug extractor from autozone works great.Read full review

The best choice 👌
Although, this is still a "two piece" plug design, it is (in my experience) the best stock replacement plug, for the 3v modular engine. No misfire, or shortened life issues with these plugs. After 40k miles, even the old plugs, only had gaps out of tolorance. The gap, with these plugs, is non adjustable. Necessitating replacement.
Some people experience severely burned, or trashed ceramics, or engine damage. I would submit that regular maintenance, or close monitoring of engine performance/efficiency, will preclude these problems.
In summery; although the two piece plug was probably not one of Ford's best ideas, the SP514 is (imho) the best stock replacement, currently available. Exceptions being hotter coil spark, or forced induction applications, that would require smaller gaps, or cooler plugs.Read full review

BAD two piece design, guarantee to break in half
love Ford however they laid a egg with this 2 piece design spark plug. 7 out of 8 broke in the head when trying to replace . What should have been a 25 minute job turned into a nightmare . had to bring to a shop to remove the broken spark plugs. $900.00 + and a week later I was fixed. Go with the Champion plugs, a 1 piece design and will not break in half.Read full review

New style, half the price
I got these for about half the price of buying from the auto parts store. These are the new style and not the old style like other web stores are selling.
