Not only do these swabs take the sting out quickly, but they are really easy to use. They also work very well to take the pain out of minor burns - like touching a hot grill or touching the hot exhaust on the mower. I keep a pack in each building: house or garage. I've even given them to neighbors.

Good item to have handy!

I was recently bitten by a horse fly inside my house. Tried putting baking soda on the open sore to quell the sting but that didn't help. Went to get my handy Sting-Kill vial. Received immediate relief after applying the Sting-Kill swab!

Have used this brand for years - Excellent

I have keep some of theses capsules in my medicine cabinets ever since I moved out to the country. They don/t appear to ever go bad. Sometimes the ones I use are five or more years old. You just crush the capsule like a plastic ammonia capsule and the liquid flows into a cotton swab in the end of the tube. Then you dab it onto the bite, sting, or other irritation. The pain relief is immediate.

Note: These do not counteract the poison of a sting. You should always take an antihistamine immediately if you have an allergic reaction to the venom. (See your doctor if you do not know anything about antihistamines.)Read full review

It works!

After initially trying Sting-Kill, I always keep it on hand now! If I misplace a pack I re order it, that is how important it is to me to have it available! Put simply, as a obviously dedicated target of paper wasp (why else would they sting me?) I found Sting-Kill to relieve the pain and reduce the swelling. I just wish the product had been around when I was a kid!! Warning!! Some people have severe reactions to wasp/bee stings and Sting-Kill is not a substitute for medical treatment/care for those people. They need to seek medical care immediately!Read full review

Use Entire Swab on Each Sting

Been using Sting-Kill for 10 years. First I cut open the maddening shrink wrap inside the bubble pack, and load 5 swabs, ready to go, into the original brightly colored pack (current product is light green on a white background).
With 75 year old hands, I smash the vial with slip joint pliers (30 pair are kept around the campus).
As the title says, it is necessary to use the entire swab on each sting. Black jackets made a 750 cell nest in the end of a rolled up rug on our patio; 7 stings made me realize the caps placed in the end of that rug (to keep birds out) should have been replaced. Live and learn.Read full review
