This is a marvelous collection of Mario games; Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64), Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube), and Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) all on one cartridge. Each game plays wonderfully and they all look amazing in HD. Any Mario fan owes it to themselves to add this compilation to their collection.
Each title plays very well on the Switch. There are options to play either docked or in handheld mode, so anyone who has a Switch Lite won’t miss out with Super Mario Galaxy’s motion controls.
The games truly tickle that nostalgia bone for any old school gamer and this collection is a great way for new gamers to see how Mario evolved in 3-D. Even though Super Mario 64 looks blocky by today’s standards, it’s still loaded with fun and compelling gameplay that is great for anyone to enjoy.
On further note, this game was discontinued by Nintendo as far as physical copies and digital copies are concerned. You just can’t get it at a store anymore. This is going to be very collectible and rare, so get it while you can.
Super Mario 3-D All-Stars is a wonderful collection of three classic titles. It’s too bad this collection is out of production. If you are a Mario fan, a collector, or just an old schooler like me, this is one that will sit nicely in your Switch library.Read full review
