Awesome!!!
Excellent light. High output is crisp and illuminates a wide area with a clean illuminated throw that is not a focused hotspot type, but more like turning on a light switch in half of the room. Excellent function with tail cap twist for permanent on and momentary press for momentary on. Nice that there is a LOW brightness setting that works great for admin tasks or close in type work that needs a little vit of light without blinding flashback.

Bright up close
Not bright past 40 feet. I own several surefire lights and I am very disappointed with this one. When u can buy a maglight and shine farther than a surefire why spend the money on a high end light. A incandescent g2 is brighter at 50 ft.

Useful EDC flashlight
Surefire in LED age is not the same level back in the incandescent age, it still has top knurling, top hard anodized, very useful floodlight (MaxVision Beam) and dual output, all comes with a lightwight and beautiful body.
But the one I got has slightly un-centered LED, and the tailcap feels not that great to the old Surefire, like M2, M6...Read full review

Versatile, bright, does it all
So its a little different but its just like having a 6p with a high/low mode, no big deal. The beam literally makes a wall of light like another guy said, it is not spot. Lights up everything in front. Very pleased with it. I trust the switches more than the streamlights.
