Swagman folding upright roof bike rack

This is a great bike rack. It’s sturdy, easily mounted on my roof rack(Thule style rectangular cross bars). It was about $50 including shipping. It’s for an older bike without quick disconnect wheels or brakes so putting the bike inside the truck was ridiculous. I installed it in about 25 minutes including assembly. It did require a wrench to make sure the lock nuts were tight but mounting it didn’t require any tools, it’s a great deal!Read full review

Except to modify hardware

Installed (two) on 2018 Golf Sportwagen. The rear hardware (u-bolt) required cutting to create enough clearance for the roof’s paintwork. And had to lose the knobs for nuts.
