Best AM/FM recording radio
The reception is excellent for both AM and FM stations. Only portable radio in the market that can record AM stations onto sd micro card with perfect sound clarity. The only thing I like to see improve is to add a timer into the recording system, so that the radio stops the recording and turns itself off at a set time. Overall, it is a very good radio with great features, including the price.Read full review

This radio is just as described.
It is monaural, English instructions, came with a memory chip with 10 American Standard songs on it, with battery, from Anon-Co seller. The voice record function sounds really nice. Strong speaker, 3 watts. I think a Travel 5 volt, 250 ma minimum usb charger is necessary. The scan tuning didn't find many AM stations where I live near an airport. Maybe too much interference. The stations can be input manually OK. The FM scan tuning worked for FM after I extended the antenna. (oops) Earphone seems to be stereo with correct earphones. Manual indicates earphone is stereo. Excellent radio reception and recording quality
This radio/recorder has excellent reception of radio station signals --- i got 32 FM radio stations (compared to about 15 stations with my other radios). The digital tuner enables the accurate tuning to each of the stations. The recording quality is also great, I have tried radio recording and line-in recording, both are in excellent sound quality. Love this Tecsun radio
I really like this radio. It is simple to operate. It sounds great, really great. It works well as a simple MP3 player and a recording device. While my radio wasn't supplied with a micro SD card, the slot is conveniently located on the side of the radio, and all I had to do was load a card with music, and insert it into the card slot on the radio. Really easy. It also makes a good speaker for other devices via the supplied cord. While my radio didn't come supplied with a battery, I purchased a good quality button top protected 18650 battery. Wow. Amazingly long play time before it needs to be recharged. Recharging is easy and can be done by simply plugging the supplied USB cord into a wall or car adapter.

Good AM FM sensitivity, AM IF Bandwidth wide enough to give nice clear audio. Very nice audio, speaker big enough to give very pleasing sound, not measured, wide enough frequency response to make listening to wave files very pleasant. Buttons operate positive, nice feedback. The unit is easy to operate and does not require reference to manual, the manual is well laid out and easy to understand. FM and Mp3 stereo is available via headphones.
