I checked out a few different ones, but on the review A mechanic gave the topdon volcano a serious thumbs up for use in his commercial company. The topdon JS2000 is the latest version of the volcano. Like a car, latest model. Being trade myself (bricklayer) I just go with the mechanics go. Haven't tried it yet, (no need) but the specified specs tell me once charged, in a year's time should I need to use it it will still be at a minimum of 95% full charge. You only need to charge it once and then pack it away for future use. Minimum charge needed to use is 75%. I bought 2, one for each car. And personally I would recommend you spend the extra and buy the JS2000 instead of the JS12OO. Read full review

Start insurance item.

I haven't had a chance to use the start capabilty yet but all other functions work. Looks and feels as a quality item should. Bought at, I considered, a good price. Comes with a top quality fitted hard case. I hope I never need to use the start function but good insurance and lets me sleep at night. My opinion is, A GOOD BUY.Read full review

Topdon JS2000

Seems well built and packaged. The case is great. Good quality however I have not tried to jump start a flat battery yet so its a visual assessment only. I purchased this primarily as a battery pack to power a portable pump but found power could not be supplied via the battery charge alligator clips probably due to it being a smart charger but only via a seperate output socket. Unfortunately no lead was supplied to this socket and I can't find one. If Topdon could advise where I can purchase one I would be very grateful.Read full review

Great quality product

Haven’t used it yet, which I suppose is a good thing. I did charge my phone at work and was quick. Going by the weight and casing used it seems to be of good quality.
