Good unit, good price
I'll start with the reason why I gave it four instead of five stars: the instruction sheet was way too small with tiny type I could hardly read, plus the instructions themselves, which I read under a magnifying glass, were often often obtuse. Whoever wrote them had a fair grasp of English, but sometimes I really had no idea what he or she was writing.
On to the positives! It's a small, reasonably attractive unit with small, blue LED lights. It doesn't call attention to itself. After reading the instructions twice and not being sure of what I was doing, the unit and my Netgear router seemed to find each other without a hitch, and they've been rock solid ever since. The signal is stronger and more reliable than the always-disappointing Belkin unit it replaced. Even after a power outage, it comes up strong and fast. I now have a firm signal throughout the entire house, through three walls into the garage, and even out onto most of our immediate yard. (We live on 10 acres, so, no, it doesn't cover the whole property.)
Fix the wonky instruction sheet and it's easily a five star product.Read full review

Looks good, works "fairly" well and has good pricing....
Sets up as advertised, easy to install and works (ok). I didn't see a whole lot of increase in signal from using this. I got an additional 1 or 2 bars of extra signal on my cell phone. I guess for the money it's not bad but I was looking for something more. But it does work, just not what I have envisioned. Read full review

Easy Setup and Works Well
I purchased this model based on reviews of how easy it was to set up and how well it worked. The setup could not have been easier - just plug in, push a button on the router and a button on the extender and it is done. Then just position it in the house to get the best results. No new connections or different WiFi name. Great value and it works. What else do you want?Read full review

Easy to set up and reliable connection!
Very happy with this unit. I bought it used and then upgraded the firmware. I have had no issues with it at. It was very easy to set up and get connected wirelessly to my existing wireless network. I have 5 port switch plugged into it so I can connect it to my PC that does not have a wireless card and so I can connect it to the copier in our office that is not wireless. Love it and would buy another one if needed.Read full review

Excellent Device
I wasn't expecting too much for a repeater, it's the first time I buy one, and the truth is I am more than satisfied with the performance, easy set up and the boost it gave to my home network. It definitely will help you cover areas as far as 60 feet from front your router and have a signal strength as if you're within 20 ft.Read full review

Fast shipping, good product for the price
Setup was easy and just took a couple of minutes. Not as strong of a signal as I'd like but it does do a good job for the money. I needed coverage to extend to about 50 ft. outside the house and placed indoors by the front window it does increase signal strength, but just barely. Fairly consistent signal but drops for a few seconds once in a while. Considering the price, I feel it's a fair deal.Read full review

Works great, but no option to set the network's password...borrows password from host WiFi
It's TP-LINK, so you can expect quality and dependability. Great little network extender. Easy to set up. Easy to modify settings once you get past the quick setup wizard. Downside is that there's no option to set a WiFi password. The unit borrows the password from your host WiFi network. And, that's kind of annoying, especially if you want a different password for some reason or another.Read full review

Extends wifi as needed
Pros:
-Inexpensive
-Easy and quick setup
-Delivered very quickly
-Extends wifi as needed
Cons:
-I still get slow internet sometimes (playing games like Overwatch) but it's not as bad as before
The reason why I got this extender was for the obvious reason to extend my wifi. I have a modem/router combo and I was only getting two bars coming from it. Now I get full bars from the extender. I still get some laggy spots during gameplay even with full bars but I'm not sure if it's the extender, the modem/router just being really bad, or maybe even my computer.
Overall, it does the job pretty good for the price.Read full review

If your not a tech, you'll be upset
I don't know if it works- I have read instructions, watched at least 20 youtube videos- which I either can't understand the guy or he leaves vital information out- one spent 90% of video just taking the thing out of the box. It keeps saying very easy to install- I have a friend that is trying, if she can't get it, I'll have to hire someone- Yeah - im not tech savy - but set up pfffffftRead full review

Great product for Great price.
I ended up buying two of these to use as Wifi extenders for my outdoor surveillance camera system (one of the cameras is in front of the house and one in the backyard by my shop – approximately 150 feet separating the two cameras). During setup of the first one, I was able to use the Wifi setup through the device itself to connect to my wireless network. However, when I went to connect the second one to my wireless router, the device’s Wifi setup would not work. In essence, my router already saw one of the devices via Wifi and wanted to assign the IP/MAC address it had given to the first device to the second instance of the device it saw. I solved this by connecting the second device directly to the router using a hard cable, and the router assigned a new IP/MAC address to the second device. Then I removed the hard cable and the router properly assigned a new IP address to the second unit via Wifi.
My cameras are about 50-60 feet away from the extender it is paired to and the extenders are about 20-30 feet from my wireless router. Both work flawlessly. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
