Works as intended for TP-Link Routers

Just make sure your router brand is TP-Link. The set up is really easy once you plug it in and follow the instructions in the App.

Excellent Extender

For some reason yes on recommend, quality and value will not allow me to say yes. It works flawlessly. I have it set as a wired Eathernet connection. Now i have only one extender that does both 2.4 & 5 g's Well worth the cost. I was using 3 extenders and was constantly getting service interruption. Only 2.4 available. Now i have a spare. The performance is fantastic. Read full review

Great performance

I shopped around and read several reviews. This range extender was recommended by PC World. I purchased the range extender. It did not automatically connect but with a little effort it worked well. The online instructions provided the correct information. The unit has LEDs which are helpful during the set up. I liked that those could be turned off after commissioning. The range extender works great.Read full review

I would surely recommend.

With having to work at home, I found that the connection for remote working kept dropping or freezing and I began to wonder if it was the speed of my internet. The use of the adapter has minimized this issue a lot.Read full review

Nice, very nice!

Interesting to install. It originally came up with some funky network name that suggested it had been tried by someone else. After a reset the bogus network name was gone and it installed using the WMS??? buttons on the extender and the router.

After the install dilemma this was a very nice extender to place accurately and in the end I got the much better speed that i hoped for. I moved it around to a couple of locations until I got the consistent blue light. Previously I got 5-20 Mbps from an older 2.4 bandwidth extender. From the 5.0 on this extender I get 40-60 Mbps now. The distance from the extender to my PC is about 30 feet through several walls and up 1 floor.

Works great! Had a dead spot for wifi in my house and used this to get a great signal over there! The Ethernet port also works a treat! Regularly getting speeds up to 400mbs but holds steady at 200-300 Read full review

Great as a WiFi Extender. Reliable Gigabit Ethernet port wired to my server.

Due to inherited hard-wired issues in the house I have had to resort to using the TP-Link AC1750 RE450 to tap into my WiFi and from there to the ethernet port on my server. I tried several PCIe and USB WiFi solutions: None were as effective or as satisfying as the one I have in place now.Read full review
