Cost effective way to add Video, USB, and audio to you laptop or tablet.
I use a Microsoft Surface Pro to do video editing work and I need to use dual monitors and add USB drives to create videos. My Surface only has one USB port. I can plug this into the USB and instantly have my monitors, DVD, USBs and speakers. I use two 1080p monitors and the response and color quality is great.
Sometimes you must shut down the tablet and power off the docking station, then power up the station and restart the tablet(in that order) to get it to recognize the monitors. In addition the device is very sensitive to the video cables that you use. If you get screens flashing or shutting down then you need to upgrade your cables.

Works Very well
I had some issues setting this up since I didn't have a manual. I could not get the video to work, I then searched the internet for the manual and found that to setup the video you need to click on the Icon located in the tray. From there I was able to obtain the driver off of the CD from the video, Until I setup the video the mouse would stick on the 2nd video and I would have to unplug the docking station to be able to move it back to the laptop. I hope this one lasts a while
This is my 3rd Targus USB 3.0 ACP70USZ Universal Docking Station. They work very well, but they are not as reliable as I would expect. The first one lasted about 6 months and quit. I was able to replace it under warranty. The second one lasted about 18 months and just died. I have had this one for about two weeks and I will keep my fingers crossed, hoping that it lasts at least a year.
It is a very functional device, as it handles my 2 monitors, several USB devices, speaker system and my Ethernet connection. I just have doubts about the reliability.Read full review

I'm setting up my home office with dual monitors. The Taurus docking station is what I have at work. This is a great product at an even better price. It comes with everything you need to hook up the dual monitors. The only problem I had is that my laptop runs Windows 10 and the drivers cd that comes with the package doesn't support windows 10. I was able to get the drivers online and the set up is complete and works beautifully.

Was having trouble using multiple displays before this
My laptop comes with a couple of USB 3 ports. So there weren't enough to use two USB to HDMI/VGA converters for two monitors and mouse and keyboard. And whatever converter I bought were most of the time glitchy. Finally I looked up docking stations and this solved all my problems. Good, affordable, dual monitor docking station
The docking station works flawlessly. The only downside is that the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel doesn't want to recognize the Multi-monitor display mode. I have to manage my monitor configuration via Display Settings. Not a deal breaker by any means.Read full review
