Nice DVD with musical accompaniment

Lovely old fashioned DVD. You can watch it when there's no internet. But not when there's a power cut. Unless you've got a battery operated DVD player.

The film is great. Shame about the perpetual music, but it doesn't grate quite as much here as it does in the LOTR films. Here, it can be ignored as the pace of the action doesn't drag. Some good roles for the female actors, who save the day once again. If only the make characters would just listen to the females around them, all would be well. Read full review

Should you buy this

I think it's an ecellent film it's fantasy and you probably could keep on reapeting it and you won't get bored

Although the disc what I received had 5 little dints in it now I know why it is so cheap and sometimes it does stop on my DVD player

So I started putting it on my PS4 and it only stoped working once so I recommend having putting it on PS4 or PCRead full review

Great ending to the adventure

I love the hobbit and lord of the rings trilogies and I thought that this was a great way of ending the trilogy and bringing a closure to the adventure. Kind of though Bilbo Baggins would be showed more in the film series since it’s obviously called The Hobbit.Read full review

Another giant battle

By the time you get to this movie killing Orcs gets a bit samey, I think the entire trilogy could have been compressed into 2 movies. What's with Orlando Bloom's face glowing like an advert for Lux soap? Just my luck this movie was aired on TV 4 days after it arrived, after watching I probably wouldn't have bothered buying the DVD anyway.Read full review
