A Little Girl, A German Soldier, A Priest

I had to watch this twice and read reviews before I realized the meaning of the three miracles. A wonderful character driven film with a beginning zeroing in on a village, a little girl, her father, a priest and a wounded German soldier. Of course Ed Harris is in his prime, an astounding performance by Anne Heche and all other actors superb. A disillusioned priest who tastes the blood of a statue shredding the blood and the incredible meaning of this. The ending music is so lovely, just lovely.
