I read all of the Hobbit/Rings books and...
I read all of the Hobbit/Rings books and it's nice to see them acted out. When I was younger I thought that if you read a book, seeing a movie based on that book would be redundant, but that's almost never the case. Sometimes the movie is wildly different from the book, but even when the director tries to keep the movie faithful to the book, there's inevitably a different spin, and that makes things interesting.Read full review

I was surprised to see the set in a different (and actual box) case as apposed to the the slightly bigger blu-ray case usually used for such a thing. I have now watched the movies (2 of three since I had already watched the first on dvd before buying this set), and they are in great working condition, and I appreciate both that and the great price I was able to purchase it for!
