This film, which made its theater run thirty years ago, was one of my favorite films of the decade. Earthy, moving, dramatic, and eerie all at once, it contains performances by Graham Greene, Sam Shepard, Val Kilmer, Sheila Tousey, John Trudell, Julius Drum, and Ted Thin Elk that are trenchant and unforgettable. The title is the point of the movie

This is an old favorite, but it remains one of the finest movies I’ve ever seen. Besides great plot and characters and lots of action, it has a lot of depth and is very moving.

Whodunnit with a great cast

The story seems a realistic take on how we continue to abuse a downtrodden people. Throw in a little mysticism, and humor with great acting and its all up in my wheelhouse!
