everything I wanted and then some
Sorry it took this long to write this review but Verizon sent me 2 bad m-cards of with charge of $25.00 for a 1 ounce package. They finally had to activate the card of the net and now it's working fine I can now watch a program while I am recording another. When I saw your return address it brought me back a few years. I moved from Randolpf you know where all the smart people come from. Even though years ago we were part of Braintree really.

Good Value
We had a hard time getting it installed but once it is up and running it is very nice. Better than our old 2 tivo with more features.

A Place for Media Center Users to go
I purchased this to step in for windows media center which is going "off the air" in 2020. I have set the tivo up and it will do. The tivo now has the schedule available on line and so the programs you want to record can be set from there. I have to confess that I am still using the media center and will continue with it until the schedule disappears. It is good to know the tivo is ready to go when it no longer is.Read full review

Great Alternative to TWC DVR
This being my 2nd TiVo Premiere Series 4 Receiver, this is a great DVR that (for me) is easier to operate than most carrier offered DVRs. With it's Lifetime TiVO Service, I like not having any monthly TiVo fees. And I'm saving $9 per month for each cable company DVR I don't have to rent. (Setup of the Time Warner required Cable Card wasn't too bad as their tech support did a good job.)Read full review

TIVO Premiere 4 is an excellent machine
My hard-drive went out on my old machine, so I replaced it with a new machine and it has been great. It provides both over the air and cable capabilities and less than cable company machines.
The illuminated remote is nice watching television at night. I am hoping the hard drive holds up on this machine, but so far it is great.Read full review

TIVOs are without compare.
I have two other TIVOs just like this one, and I would never watch TV any other way. It just works so well all of the time, and does exactly what I want it to do.

TiVo Rocks
Features the newer units don’t have. I have two of these with cable cards and an antenna connected to both. You can’t get that on the new models. TiVo is legendary and can’t be beat.
