I used one of these to repair an older model WM series Night Owl DVR that had a failed HDD. Not only did it work, but it was also an upgrade from the original 500gb to 1 tb. Just take the cover off, loosen the 4 screws in their slots on the bottom, disconnect 2 electrical plugs, install the new drive and format it under the "disk management" menu and it works. 5 STARS⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐THANK YOU !Read full review
