"Impressive"
Truly I could not put the book down. Trump is the master of deal making, and he certainly has the back bone, knowledge, and experience to take that leap he does to being successful as he is ... As his book demonstrates. With all the odds against him running for president, especially against an opponent with political clout as Hillary Clinton, he has proved to be himself a political Strategist. The reason I purchased his book was to learn more about Trump, the person. He definitely demonstrated to be a people person taking over on a city community Skating Rink Project that city officials had fail it in many ways like excessive construction cost overruns, poor construction workmanship, years in delays, and etc. A project Donald trump had accepted to take over, which came within his schedule time dead line, under cost, and with money to spare to help renovate the skating rink building ... What a great attribute he made to the people in the community. I've learned he is a man that fulfills his promises. I just presently learned from FOX News of his dealings that saved over 1000 jobs in State of Indiana as President Elect. As a Democrate voting for Trump I've become a hopeful optimistic that Mr. Trump will be the People's President for ALL of us, and am willing to give him a chance as our President. I only have two drawbacks in purchasing his book, I can't get his autograph on it, and I should have purchased an addition book as a Xmas gift for a good friend. The book explains too his deal in purchasing an old rundown landmark hotel in New York, and he and his wife turns it into his fabulous Trump Tower. His purchase of his first corporate jets was a quick and tremendous deal, It was very impressive! You'll have to read about it. This book is an Amazing Read! Maybe one day I'll get his autograph on the book ... Who knows. Hey Trump, if your reading this ... I'm trying to buy either a very classic 75 or 76' Lincoln Mark IV for under $10,000, the only obstacle is my wife, she says we need the money ... Now how can I make the deal? HA-HA! Read full review

If you expected some kind of guidance than do not buy it
It was interesting at some point to know how some of his business deals went through . At least from his own point of view .
After I finished the book it just tells me what I new and learn years ago,
The "luck" in business and life in general is in favor of the prepared one .
Money wise I think that paying more than 10$ is not worth it.

Great Background/Insight into Our President
If you want to understand our president, you should read this book. Well written, interesting and insightful. Although it’s many years old, the contents and theme are relevant and timely. Mr Trump is smart!
Mr Trump is smart, he has made billiions, I think he would be good for America at this time. The book shows his logic, his positioning of his staff , using all the laws available for his advantage. These are the marks of good business. They are used daily by big business.
He is also a man of considerable taste, Since there is no law against that, I applaude him.

You almost have to be an expert in at least one difficult field to appreciate the Trump story.
This is written in plain English and is full of facts and insights that provide a good foundation for understanding Donald Trump's approach to his profession and his life in general. Good negotiation strategies are what I expected, but it is more like the title, how to make good deals and avoid losing your shirt. Mostly common sense, but very well demonstrated. Extremely high standards, humility with boldness, and a great deal of patience all help explain his success in making good deals, both before and after committing to a big project. (I have seen some of the same in the nuclear power plant business, where true excellence is mandated by law.)
I note that the media "experts" try to use parts of the book against him, but what else is new? Amusing. I doubt that most media folks bother to integrate his views and accomplishments into the definitive man since they are so set on finding flaws in diamonds and ignoring big cracks in lumps of coal.
I did notice that the book was reprinted last year, which means it is even more in demand than before. Just shows that even the book is a continuing money maker!Read full review

Know the real Trump
I enjoyed reading the book. It really gives you an insight to the way the man thinks. It is interesting to see his rationale behind many of his decisions. That leads me to think he is a genuine individual, and makes one understand his stance on certain issues. I'd been hearing about this book for as long as I remember. When Trump won the White House I finally decided to get it.
It's written in a very casual, conversational tone — so it made very easy reading.
It was interesting to learn about how he got started in real estate — and his tremendous self confidence, skill, and yes...luck — at finding himself in the right place and time for many of his amazing deals.
He is EXTREMELY tenacious and willing to take HUGE risks — and then he is able to produce results that give investors/partners and government agencies a willingness to lend to him and green light his projects.
