UltraFire Military Grade Tactical Flashlight Charger Battery Tac1 Tc1200 1tac St

Worth the price for what it is, but not so much what it does.

I bought this with the mistake of thinking it was a real Tac1, but that was my fault. As a police officer working nights, I needed a compact light for traffic stops, house clearing and looking for bad guys in dark places. This light does all of that with no problem, and I am not disappointed.
Here is the issue for me: I keep this light on my duty belt a bit rear of my left hip. It drops, lens up, in a leather loop carrier that is about 3" wide. There have been many times when I sit in the car, the light will turn on because the on/off button sticks out sooooo far. Twice now, when I pull the light out of the carrier and get ready for action, the rubber on/off switch cover will snag and pop off, again because it is soooooo long. The switch, without the rubber cover, is so recessed below the frame, it cannot be turned on without using a pen or, in my case, a handcuff key. Because of this, I would not recommend it for police use. A foot chase after the switch cover pops off, then grabbing your handcuff key and sticking it in the hole to turn the light on is not good.
It is SUPER BRIGHT and the lens focus is fast and easy. You can see all occupants in the car at night with the lens set on flood, without having to move the light around. The entire interior is lit up very brightly.
If this had a more recessed switch cover or, better yet, an end cap switch, it would be perfect for what I need it for.
Hunting, fishing, home security, etc. uses are ideal and would not be disappointing.Read full review

Bright, but not that bright..

It's not that this flashlight is not bright, it is just not as bright as advertised. I have a 900 lumen flashlight, that has more punch than this flashlight. Also the rubber button came out that controls off/on. I did get it back in, but if the button came out without me knowing it, the flashlight couldn't be turned off and on without it.Read full review

button fell off

Flashlight was okay until the rubber button fell off. Now I have to use a screwdriver to push the button. Light is not nearly 1200 lumens. My 900 Lumen light is twice the light.
