Versatile and portable
This saw is very functional. Blade change is easy and allows different materials to be cut. No worries about the blade breaking or popping off like a bandsaw. For me anyway, it's like the best of both a bandsaw and a scroll saw and a lot more versatile.
The only bad issue I found is that since it cuts on the up stroke, you need to be sure you have a firm grip of the material.Read full review

Too Much brittle plastic, came broken in box
The products table plastic chipped in shipping box. Product looks great in theory but without a metal table it would never last over time. I have a jig saw for hobbyist that all metal and 40 years old. This thing did not even make it through shipping. Very disappointed.Read full review

Really good product with well-thought-out features
Checked blade to table alignment - perfect! Sturdy, has a strong motor and the included accessories make it very functional right out of the box.
I added a Crosscut Sled Attachment, which is also well designed, and am looking forward to many years of service from my Blade Runner based on all of the other ratings plus videos I've seen.Read full review

It is a fine little saw for the homeowner that does't need it every day.
I got this little saw to finish up laying wood and vinyl wood-looking laminate floor at a reno. It was great for cutting off the odd end of wood plank, making a notch, mitering that plastic quarter round and cutting the vinyl. I was especially impressed with it cutting the vinyl.
Long rips you have to watch, because they will bind if you aren't careful. They get caught on the back of the saw. I wrapped some tape around it to make the split larger so the two sides of the ripped material don't catch so easily. The guide can get wobbly on you pretty quick if you don't pay attention and retighten it down every time.
Free handing anything is a breeze. It cut through quarter inch plexi like butter. A 2x4 should be reserved for the chop saw if you are cutting a bunch though.
What I love is I can carry it all around the renovation. I can attach a vaccum hose up to it- so no mess! That is worth it right there. It is small enough that you can use it in a hallway so it cuts your running around time down in half!
All in all good value for price, it does the job and probably just fine for John Q. Homeowner.Read full review

Nice bench saw.
This saw is easy to use and maintains a straight cut. I have only used it a couple of times but it works well. I like the light weight. It stores easily below my workbench and is easy to get into action. I used the miter attachment for all of the cross cuts. It holds the angle well. I tried the rip fence. It seems to work well and is easy to set. The storage for these accessories is a nice feature.
There are a couple of things that could be improved:
1. The directions are a little hard to understand. It took me a while to figure out that the red blade holder was only for removing and installing the blade;, and
2. The miter and fence gauges are moulded in black plastic. The indications are really hard to see. I may try adding some paint to the indication lines.
This saw won't replace my table or radial arm saw but for small projects and for hobby cutting its a real good choice. Read full review

Perfect for small jobs
Was quite surprised by how well this thing works. It isimple to set up and operate and ideal for smaller jobs. Its also extremely portable and way less effort than taking out my big table saw. It will be great if Worx adds a battery powered version like they did for the mitre saw.Read full review

Great saw!
I received this last week and I’ve cut many different materials with it to test it out. I am not disappointed in any way. Great saw for different materials. Blades are extremely easy to change and blades are very inexpensive. It takes to Jay shank, jigsaw blades which are easy to find.Read full review

A Cleverly Designed & Useful Tool
I bought BladeRunner X2 because I got rid of my jigsaw. This item is way better and much more useful than a jigsaw! I used it today, for the first time, and I ripped a 1X6 board, 32 inches long, twice! First, at 2 1/2 inches, then I needed another (unexpected) cut at 1 3/4 inces due to my inaccurate measuring. Thanks to the removable arm & adjustable fence, the BladeRunner X2 acted like "my version" of a table saw (since I don't own one), and the cuts came out even and straight. My pigeon door loft fit perfectly between the ripped cuts and I sighed with relief, and happiness, because there's no way I could have done this freehanded or with a circular saw. This tool will make your project go along easier, like it did mine. The BladeRunner X2 is very lightweight and portable. In fact, I clamped mine to my work table for extra stability & to help lessen vibration from my rip cut. I can already envision the BladeRunner X2 replacing my miter saw for small repeatable cuts, like for pigeon perches. What a great tool! The BladeRunner X2 was so useful and it saved me from a huge headache today. The least I can do is leave a good, honest review. Thanks WORX! If you have read this far, GET IT! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!Read full review

Great saw to save lot's of time; really great product.
This saw is light weight but sturdy and is great when you have a board to cut or a fast trim job. The saw is so easy to handle and also use. I keep mine on a fairly high shelf out of the way till needed. Saves me time and frustration that I used to have when setting up my big saw because my garage is also my shop.Read full review

You will use this more than you thought!
I bought this mainly for a single operation, to cut sheet metal cleanly. It does that and a lot more. If you want to make fast, accurate cuts in almost any material, you will love this tool!
It's light enough to carry and move easily but cuts like a monster. I own 4 jigsaws that won't see much use now that I have this tool!
Purchased directly from Worx, the package arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I love this tool!Read full review

Best all around saw
Great all around saw! The best bang for your bucks does rip-cuts, scroll cuts, and even some miter cuts + metals, tile, and plastics. It’s only shortcomings are making wide miter cuts( blade won’t tilt). But for all it’s uses, you can’t go wrong with this one.Read full review
