The Winner was only David Baldacci's third book and still ranks as one the his most compelling stories. I t also set the stage for many other of his book series' with his favored "type" of protagonists and villains. I first read this book when it was published decades ago but somewhere along the way I lost my copy. This one was the finest replacement I could find, being a 1st edition 1st printing. The book and dustcover were in immaculate condition and will look great with my "Camel Club" series by the same author. I have all five books in hardback, all 1st and 1st.
