Great Guitar for the money.
I bought my first Yamaha Acoustic Guitar when I was 16 and now 46 years later I bought another. This guitar looks great and plays great right out of the box. These acoustics have a fantastic sound. A lot of bang for the buck. I love the way that they did not put a Clear coat on the back of the neck. The gold machine heads are great also as well as the action. I found a small ding in the head stock and a small flaw in the finish on the front of the guitar but for the price I really do not care because I am sure that after a while I'll have pick marks all over it. I own a Martin DCME and this Yamaha sounds just as good if not better. I would recommend this for Beginners as well as Seasoned Vet. Musicians.
Pick one up. You won't be sorry.Read full review...

Cheap sound
Just want another basic guitar for different tuning. But very disappointed in its sound quality. It sounds like metal string noise, not warm at all. Replaced all strings with new and it is barely better. I owned other Yamaha guitar but this one is so badRead full review...

Fantastic for the price!
Just starting off and let me say that this is a Great beginning guitar. Wonderful full sound, beautiful finish and easy to work with. Only down side is it doesn’t stay in tune. I’m sure the strings might need some adjusting but I’m new to the guitar so not sure if that’s normal for a new instrument. Read full review...

Haooy, Happy Happy
When I removed my guitar I was not a happy camper, the bridge and string pines were black, and the pick guard was a dark color1 I tuned it up and when I strummed my first G I saw God. in all the ranges it sounds as good if not better then my friends Gibson Dove. It's freaky how this low end Yamaha could sound so good. Read full review...

Great Starter Guitar
It's just what I was looking for at this price point. Actually it's better than I thought it would be. The materials seem to be of a good solid quality. I assumed that it would feel lite and flimsy but I was instead pleasantly surprised. Read full review...

Bought as Christmas gifts
I received them very quickly. I really thought they were going to be after Christmas gifts. After receiving them I opened the boxes to inspect. Very nice for the price was my first thought! I unwrapped and tuned them. It took the normal amount of sequences to get the strings stretched and neck set. It was fun playing them as they were settling in! I let them set over night and only needed minor adjustments to bring into tune again. I retuned them, repacked into the factory box, gift wrapped and took off to be Santa Clause to my Grand kids! I’m looking forward to see which ones take interest in guitar! Thank You Yamaha and Musicians Friend! Read full review...

Feels pretty good
Setup is alright. I’m a total beginner so I’m sure much of the string buzz I get can be attributed to a lack of finger strength, as notes can ring out nice and clear when I do hold them very firm. The strings that came with mine (likely Yamaha FG/FB-12s) are pretty good. After hearing horror stories about how badly set up cheap acoustics are, I’d consider the F335 to be a solid sub-$200 choice for anyone going the acoustic route.Read full review...

Great guitar for starters & intermediates but can be used well by all skill levels.
A wonderfully made guitar which came as no surprise. I own a Yamaha trumpet & alto sax as well. It has a large sound box and is louder than most. Personally, I like that but to each their own. Stays in tune much better than the ratings I previously read about. Read full review...
