Better than the old style sensors

The batteries in these are way bigger than the older style sensors and they look far slicker. Easy to link to my existing Ecobee 3. Great product, I love have more sensors around the house.

Exactly what my ecobee needed

I’ve had my ecobee thermostat for a while and it has always worked well; however, some rooms in my house have some extra drafts and are colder than the rest. Monitor room temperature

I bought these sensors because I wanted to balance my AC (some rooms were hotter than others). They were easy to install (I used the mobile app) and within a minute or two both sensors were connected to my home ecobee. Average the temperature across a larger home

Compact and easy to install, these remote sensors allow you to balance your Ecobee thermostat in a larger home. I always found it odd that builders put the single thermostat in some dark, unused hallway, away from where the occupants spend most of their time. These add-on sensors allow the thermostat to "take the temperature" of the home, and average it across a larger footprint. We've had less hot/cold places in our home since adding these. An added benefit is that they include tiny wall mounts in case you don't have a shelf to set it on. Totally wireless which is great. I recommend these.Read full review

An Energy Saver!

Definitely focuses climate control on ones location. Some of my rooms are naturally warmer than others. With the sensor, no unnecessary power is used when these rooms aren't occupied.
