For me, it has a good burst of energy within 30 minutes of taking in the morning. I have a steady stream of energy and focus throughout the day; however, towards the late afternoon the effects seem to have worn off - this doe snot aid in my workouts at this time. I have not tried to take a second pill around lunch time as of yet (maybe on a weekend as to not interfere with much desired sleep during the work week.
