Just average
I bought this as a replacement for my Dell wired keyboard that came with my PC I bought from them in 2013. The only issue I had with the old one was that the letters had rubbed off, and after six years (and being used to write a book) the F key started to physically stick. The new keyboard was just as easy to set up as the original, and it even has features the original didn't. I'm especially fond of the volume control buttons. The key height is comparable to the original keyboard, though it takes a bit more pressure to depress the keys. I'm attributing this to it being brand new compared to the well used original keyboard. My biggest issue with this keyboard is a key will sometimes register as being pressed twice. On average, two words per page wind up with double letters where they shouldn't be. It doesn't seem like much, but it gets annoying. It happens mostly with the letter 'i.' I am hoping it's something that resolves itself as I become accustomed to the keyboard, but for now it is bringing the star count down to a 'just average.'
