Combined track with roadbed is perfect for young adults and model railroaders whom enjoy changing their layout design... track is durable and snaps tightly together. Easy to store and unpack whenever you wish to run your trains!

Life-Like SD-7...
This Life-Like product works very well for every model railroader, especially because of the price. It is not fully wireless as are some more expensive N scale models by other companies, but it is still a good "looker" and a good "puller". This not the first Life-Like engine that I have owned. This specific unit is not DCC nor Sound equipped (I do not know if Life-Like even manufactures DCC equipment), which is fine as I do not use a DCC control system. This item is also lacking directional lighting, but that can be easily changed at home. This model is well detailed with authentic paint schemes and railings. As with all model railroad engines, rolling stock, etc., it can certainly benefit from the addition of owner supplied extra details, such as faceplates, grabirons, sun shades, etc., but that is entirely the choice of the individual modeler. I purchased this SD-7 to run in tandem with additional CB&Q SD-7/SD-9 "redbirds" and "blackbirds" in order to recreate the classic CB&Q freight consist.

Bachmann N Scale Alco 2-6-0 is very detailed and realistic. It's a great engine for modeling passenger consists in the teens and twenties. Looks super pulling a string of ARA boxcars too!
