Not overly happy with the unit.
I bought a 4 ton package heat pump last year to replace my split system. Worked great for about 4 months. Got into some cooler weather in East Texas, switched it over to heat for the couple of days needed. No problem. Went back to AC everything worked fine. Got into the end of Nov. start of Dec. needed some heat. Nothing and the AC quit. Found the transformer blew. After replacing the transformer three times and researching I figured the reversing valve must have locked up. Contacted Goodman on their site contact page 4 times, zero response. Used a space heater to get by. Come warmer weather this year put in a transformer again and had AC. Finally found Goodman's FB page and messaged them. Looks like I can call a local company to fix it but from what I read of the warranty Goodman covers parts I have to cover labor which will be quite a bit. As I'm 62 and on a zero budget till January and I draw a partial SS that leaves me without heat again this season till next year and tax time to maybe get enough together to get it fixed. Not pleased at all.

A very good unit.
4 of 4 found this helpful Okay I have two XPS comps. about 2 years difference in age. Hard drive lasted about 4-5 years for each. This unit came a day earlier than scheduled which always impresses me. A good clean unit, popped right in, my youngest son(in his 20s) hooked it up. Loaded up the OS discs and back in business. Will this last as long? Who knows with electronics. Could go in 30 days, could last 5 years. Would I buy from FASTMOOSE again? You bet I would.
