Gibson Girl and Her America Paperback Charles D. Gibson

Fantastic, Historical Art Reference!
This edition, published in 1969, has quickly become one of my go to historical art books. So much has been said about the views of Charles Dana Gibson (depending on your severity of searches). He was in some ways a man ahead of the time (his talent) and yet completely rooted in them (his politics) that aside, let us speak of the man's talent of which there is plenty to pour over in this medium sized tomb. Although the Gibson girl is not always omnipresent, there is so much beautiful ink work therein that you know this man was a master of pen and brush. A fair sized representation of the mans skill you'll find your eyes captivated by the turning of each page. Very glad to own this! I bought a used ex library copy from the first printing and have gotten my moneys worth several times over.

Fond childhood memories, excellent edition!
First saw this movie in 1989 under the US title Burial Ground. My 10 year old mind was not prepared for what I was to enjoy and endure. I love this movie, although it took a few years to appreciate the sleaze factor of which their is plenty! Over all, one hell of a fun horror film, I own the original Shriek Show DVD, but had to have this Blu-ray for it's gorgeous slipcase featuring the always lovely Mariangela! The special features make it well worth the price, I paid around $20 including tax. For fans of zombie horror, a must for Italian horror fans of the zombie sub genre! Mariangela...R.I.P.
