So Good I Bought the complete Set..
Not usually my genre of reading, BUT, I found that I could not put it down until I finished it. Easy read, characters are unique in the story with quirky faults that I found endearing. I was so enthralled with this Mother and Daughter writing team and their cunning way of writing, that I have recently purchased all 7 of their books (and read them all in a week). Highly recommend these authors and the twists they manage to put into their stories. I would advise if you are thinking of reading them to purchase Monkeewrench next. There is no order or following on in the 7 books, but Monkeewrench explains why they are so pivotal in all the other books and how they came into being.
Great reads and unusual "Who Done It" books. I only purchased my first read because it was at a Garage Sale for $2.00 and l was low on reading material. Sooooo glad I did. Happy Reading

Unique author and incredible plot.
Absolutely LOVED this book but would advise to read his first book The Meaning of Night, as The Glass of Time is a follow on. The Glass of Time can stand on its own as a read, but I feel that his first book gives full back ground and makes The Glass of Time an easier read.
Beautifully written (in Dickens or Bronte style). Fabulous story plot and characters are so well described that they seem so alive.
Excellent read but should be read as part 1 and 2 to get the full feel of the history behind the plot.
Highly recommend and I was looking forward to follow this author into the future, so was saddened to learn that he had died.

Easy to read and shows a different perspective on how to give up.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this book as it was recommended by my GP. I am not a heavy smoker but decided it was time to change my bad habit and make my home smoke free.
I liked the book as it was very visual in terms of the cartoons, and it pointed out the triggers that made me smoke and how to avoid these triggers. I would highly recommend this for reading as I have only slipped once since reading it and I immediately re-read the book again and am back on track. It focused more on the psychological reasons and not necessary the health which gave me a different perspective on why I should Quit.
