Celtic Woman anchor in beautiful settings
2 of 2 found this helpful Chloe Agnew's angelic voice is, perhaps literally, right at home in the bucolic settings of her beloved Ireland. The vocal and video quality are both superb, as are the compositions and arrangements by David Downes. While the "trick camera" shots, featuring multiple, simultaneous, views of Miss Agnew are clever, the become a little tedious at some point. No video embellishment is necessary in this soothing, inspirational effort. Celtic Woman fans will enjoy every moment of this worthy production, and like me, look forward to many more.
Just a quick update: I've had the opportunity to watch and hear Chloe on screen, via digital recordings and in person over the last eight years. Her voice, while now matured a bit with age, is still light, airy and refreshing. Her Irish lilt remains an integral part of her gift. Along with original Celtic Woman vocalist Lisa Kelly, fiddler Mairead Nesbitt and perhaps the finest percussion section on the road today, the group continues to entertain and inspire.
Thanks again David [Downes] and Sharon Browne for transitioning from the Riverdance days to this wonderful ensemble.

Exactly what I expected from Terry Harrison, and my expectations were high.
Mr. Harrison's works are well known in the watercolor art community, and this book is a very reasonably priced listing of general tips and techniques both beginning and seasoned watercolorists can use.

One of very few.
Only a very few anthropological discourses on Native American magic and other esoteric beliefs exist, and most of them were penned in the early to mid-20th Century. This one, though brief, is a very informative contribution to the literature. The production, through The University of Arizona Press is of a high quality, and the reading, though intended for an academic audience, will maintain the interest of historians and social scientists of any stripe. Recommended.
