PERFECT FOR THE SIZE AND THE MONEY.
I bought this hard drive for my ultrabook HP Split x2 G Series. It's very low profile. the Thickness is 5mm which is perfect. The dimensions (in mm) and size (in GB) of the WD5000MPCK are ideal for expanding the Ultrabook's storage space. I've only had it for a couple months now but so far everything is working smoothly. It's extremely quiet and notice a great response time. So far nothing to complain about ... I just wish WD made a 750GB 5mm notebook hard drive.

STOPPED WORKING
Bought 4, ... 1 of them came in disassembled. easy to install indeed. look great at first glance but upon closer look, very cheaply made. Worked for a year and now they're just decoration along my roof line. Will take them down at some point to troubleshoot them.
