Olympus Camedia C-5050 Zoom 5.0 Megapixel Camera
I personally own five of these cameras. I do a great deal of outdoor and backcountry activities and typically take over 700 photos a week when on an outdoor adventure. My wife and I are pretty rough on equipment and we have scratched lens on several cameras. Thats why we own so many. You can usually pick one of these up on ebay for around $200 any day of the week. They were that popular.
This is a rugged, high quality camera that rivals the features of much more expensive digital SLR's. Its compact design, super optics and good battery life make it an exceptional camera for avid outdoor enthusiasts. I have taken these cameras from the bottom of the Grand Canyon in Arizona to the top of the Himalayas in Nepal and have thousands of outstanding photos to show for the trips.
There are one or two faults to be aware of with this model. Some of the earliest cameras experienced a flawed CCD image plate which Olympus will repair for free. The later cameras do not have this problem. Also the mode dial is prone to breaking off if the camera is dropped. There is an ebay user who sells this part along with detailed repair instructions and if you are handy you can replace this youself for about $50. It uses standard compact flash cards and the Olympus XD card and the camera enumerates in Windows as a drag and drop hard drive. While the camera does come with software from Olympus, it is not necessary. I just use Windows Explorer to move my photos off the camera and onto my hard drive.

Good Price
Not bad cables, but not OEM quality. Can't beat the price.
